Had a great meeting with Blake last night regarding our senior design project. We mulled over the details of sensor placement and drive mechanics for a few hours and we got a whole lot accomplished. The girls (my girlfriend and his wife, who are good friends) escaped the geekdom by going shopping – go figure. Anyway, we’ll have pictures up on photius.net whenever we have anything concrete to take pictures of.

It’s a busy week – this weekend is the first annual North Texas APRS Workshop. If you don’t know what APRS is or why we need a workshop, check out N5OOM’s site. Anyone that wants to come out Saturday is welcome, there will be tons of information as well as some hands-on demos of the latest and greatest in this emerging positioning technology.
