Ramblings of Independence
7 July 2003

Well it was a fun weekend. Friday I just slept for hours and hours, then Katie and I made the rounds to our various family affairs. Ended up at my old boss’ house in Weatherford, where we proceeded to set off enough explosive devices to take over a small country.

Mom came down-range to light her firework, a 1’x1’x1’ cube that was its own show within itself. Right before she got the chance, a firework someone else had lit misfired, sending sparks and flames all over the rest of us. Mom lost a bit of hair, but she’s alright. She decided to let me light her toy and headed back to the house.

Saturday was a day spent eating lunch with my family then speeding all over the metroplex shopping for various niceties.

After staying up nearly all night tying to work out a hosting solution for Katie’s Church’s Website, I settled on PronetHosting, a nice outfit that sells hosting for as little as $15 per annum. Good Stuff.

Sunday was Katie and I’s 10-month anniversary – happy A-day my love. We’ve had some wonderful time and I look forward to all those yet to come. I love you!

As an anniversary present to myself, I grabbed a 19” monitor at Fry’s for $150 (as soon as I mail in the $50 rebate). Its really nice for the price, and I’ve been needing one to combat the headaches I get when I code too much. Considering that I have at least 2 websites and possibly three to code in the next month, it was good timing as well.

Alright, enough rambling, I gotta get up in about 5 hours and call about getting the front end on my car fixed. Yippe.
