Los Angeles, Mexico?
2 May 2005

As if the hundreds of thousands of illegals in Greater Los Angeles weren’t enough to convince you, a local mexican hispanic TV station has decided to remind Southern California residents where the southland resides…

Of course, a local talk radio station put up their own billboards in response…

Even the Governator got in on the act, dropping in on KFI’s morning show last week, calling the billboard “extremely divisive,” and continuing: “The big mistake is that it promotes illegal aliens to come in here. And it’s the last thing that we need.” The governor was asked what he would do to secure the border, and replied: “Well, I think the most important thing is what they’re doing with the ‘Minutemen.’ I think they’ve done a terrific job [cutting] down the crossing of illegal immigrants. It’s just that our federal government is not doing their job.”

  1. My dad and I used to listen to KFI all night long and well into the morning every Friday and Sunday night.

Do they still have “KFI in the Sky” traffic reports?

  2. Yeah, KFI in the Sky is still the norm. Its a rather interesting radio station – not the ‘normal’ Texas conservative talk radio. Conservative out here really is a relative term.
