This weekend my longtime friend Reinier Botha married his beautiful bride BethAnne at a great outdoor ceremony just south of Dallas. I had the honor and priveledge of being his best man, although when it came time to toast, I forgot a glass and could only toast the air(doh!). I don’t really sound like the ‘best’ man, do I? In any case, I took a great deal of pictures, many of which turned out and many of which didn’t – a larger flash than the dinky built-in one on the D70 would have been advantageous. But, I got to spend a great weekend with many old friends and folks I consider family, as well as meeting some new friends along the way. Some quick choice shots are here. And, of course, I got the chance to see my wonderful mother on Mother’s Day, which was a great treat – even if I did have to leave at 8am and then sit in the airport for 4 hours waiting on a delayed plane.
