The AUVSI Competition was a lot of fun. It was good to see old friends and professors, and the UTD team made a great showing this year. They didn’t qualify for the finals, but were able to get their boat in the water and accomplish a number of the contest tasks successfully. Their design will lend itself to modification easily, and I suspect they’ll be back next year with another competitive entry.
